Charlottetown, PE ā The Holland Hurricanes, last seasonās Atlantic Football League Moosehead Cup championship winners, will host the University of New Brunswick Fredericton Red BombersĀ this Sunday at 1 p.m.Ā at the UPEI Alumni Canada Games Place in their home-opener.
The āCaneās defeated the UNB Saint John Seawolves 36-13 last weekend. Head Coach Andrew Hickey said the win against the Seawolves has given the team a boost in confidence, much needed with so many new players on the roster.
āOur players are excited to be playing at home. The Bombers always play us tough and last week they put up a lot of points against Dalhousie. We are ready for a battle,ā he said.
