Receiver – #81 Marshall Cook – Vancouver Island Raiders

It was a record tying performance for Raiders’ receiver Marshall Cook on Saturday night as he’s named the “BC Lions Offensive Player of the Week.” The fourth year receiver tied a BCFC record with 14 catches, gained 208 yards and hauled in the only Raiders touchdown pass.

Defensive Back – #15 Robbie Yochim – Okanagan Sun
A 75 yard pick six for Okanagan Sun defensive back Robbie Yochim highlighted a great night for the fifth year player as he’s named the “BC Lions Defensive Player of the Week.”  The Kelowna native intercepted a second pass, made four solo tackles and assisted on another.

CJFL Special Teams POW

Returner – #4 John Beckerleg – Langley Rams
Easily the best special teams player on the field across the Conference was Langley Rams returner John Beckerleg, named the “BC Lions Special Teams Player of the Week.”   The first year Ram returned four kick-offs totally 155 yards, including a 90 yard return for a touchdown.  He also returned four punts giving the Rams good field position.
