Calgary recruit looks forward to growing with Dinos

Calgary slotback/tight end opts to stay home and play for local CIS team.

Elliott Zacher wanted to continue relationships he established with coaches.

As a result, the 6’2, 195 pound slotback/tight end from Calgary, Alberta has signed with the Calgary Dinos.  Zacher will join the team for the 2015 CWUAA season.

“I chose to commit to the University of Calgary because of the unbelievable coaching staff that I have had the pleasure of working and training with at KING Football and during the offseason,” elaborated the Calgary standout of his decision. “I know I am going to be able to work with these coaches and grow as a player on and off the field.”

“The overall success of the program in the last decade has showed what winning a championship and being a top quality team in the CIS means to these players and coaches.”

Recently, Zacher completed his career with Ernest Manning Griffins of the Calgary Senior High School Athletic Association (CSHSAA).  This past season, he racked up a combined total of 534 rushing/receiving yards as well as another 486 yards in his role as a return specialist.
