“Josh is a big offensive lineman who plays with an edge,” commented Ravens Head Coach Steve Sumarah.  “He is not afraid to get in the trenches and move people off the line of scrimmage.”

“We are excited to work with Josh over the next five years and help develop him into the best student-athlete he can be.”

Among the teams the lineman has suited up for during his career include Oshawa Hawkeyes of the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL) and Sinclair Celtics of the Lake Ontario Secondary School Athletic Association (LOSSAA).

For his part, Lambersky found the perfect combination of academics and football at the Ottawa, Ontario campus.  Additionally, he likes the positive direction the team is headed for in the future.

“I chose Carleton because of the feel of the campus and how it was all included in one location,” elaborated Lambersky.  “To go along with that the team atmosphere was incredible with the open door that all the coaches had it felt like they wanted the team to feel like one big family and they really accomplished it.”

“The team is on the rise and I really wanted to be apart of that.”
