CEGEP recruit chooses Carabins

CEGEP offensive lineman joins RSEQ team’s 2016 class.

Mathieu Gelineau will be starting his CIS career in La Belle Province.

The 6’2, 295 pound offensive lineman from Laval, Quebec has committed to Montreal Carabins.  Gelineau will join the team for the 2016 season.

“I chose the University of Montreal because I always wanted to play for this university,” commented Gelineau.  “I felt comfortable during my visit and it was there I feel the best to play my university career football.”

“There are good coaches and I think there is a good team spirit and I believe in this team to continue to do great things in the future and I want to be part of it.”

The offensive lineman recently completed his CEGEP career with Division 1 team, Montmorency Nomades.  Previous to CEGEP, Gelineau suited up for RSEQ Juvenile Division 1 team, Cure Antoine-Labelle Wolves.
