CEGEP linebacker joins RSEQ team’s 2016 class.
Aubert Mailhot is a historical trendsetter.
Recently, the 6ā1, 210 pound linebacker had committed to Concordia Stingers.Ā Mailhot will join the team for the 2016 RSEQ season.
With his commitment, the defensive standout is the first recruit ever from Mont-Laurier, Quebec to sign with the Stingers.
For his part, the combination of academics and football were the perfect fit for Mailhot.
āI chose to go to Concordia because of the reputation of the school and the program that offers stage possibility in Mechanical Engineering,ā elaborated the linebacker.Ā āThe coaches were really nice and the team was united.ā
This past fall, Mailhot completed his final season with CEGEP Division 3 team, Saint-Jerome Cheminots.
