ok so im sure players have gone into school late as heck before, but with all hese age limits now...where can a 23 year old dlineman end up to go to school and play highly competitive football? i know i got 1 year of eligability left in the cis but i dunno about the states, anyone able to help me out?
currently I know that Brander Weeder a DI football player in the states played minor league baseball then went back to school and a 28 is graduating and is a top prospect in this years NFL Draft. Chris Weinke a few years back had a similiar situation and ended up starting at florida state. at BYU many of the students play a year then go on Morman mission and come back after two years and graudate at age of 25 or 26. I do not know what level you would play at but if there are many DII and DII schools in the NCAA that play a very competative brand of football and the NAIA schools have different rules than NCAA schools in the states. I would think as long as you still have all your college eligibility left Youmay be able to play four years. Michigan and other border states have a lot of IAA DII, and DII schools
