The 2016 CIS football season is underway. CFC felt it was the perfect time to introduce to you our pre-season All-Canadian teams. The 1st and 2nd teams are heavily populated by last year’s defending conference champions from all four conferences: AUS, RSEQ, OUA, and CWUAA. There is aĀ stand-out group of players on offense, that include two McMaster Marauders and a collection of RBs that are the best we’ve seen in the last few years. Defensively, it is the year of the Linemen.
SECOND TEAMĀ OFFENCE
QB Ā Ā Ā Micheal O’Connor, UBC
RB Ā Ā Ā Atlee Simon, Regina
RB Ā Ā Ā Johnny Augustine, Guelph
OL Ā Ā Ā Darius Ciraco, Calgary

*It’s important to note pre-season All-Canadian teams are selected on how a player performed during the 2015 season and at the East/West Bowl. Career statistics and previous accolades are part of the evaluation, but choosing the players are not based on these facts alone.
