#CFC10 SUMMER RANKINGS – VARSITY (12): The race for #1 comes down to 2 weeks!

It started twelve weeks ago with thirty-three teams, all undefeated and full of optimism for the potential that was the upcoming 2015 season. Now fast forward to this weekend and for twenty-six of those thirty-three teams that optimism is a thing of the past as they have unwillingly tapped out. We are now down to the final six teams with the OFC Championships scheduled for Saturday and the OVFL down to their final four as the Wettges and Adam Conferences crown their respective champs over the weekend as well.

In the OFC only the Toronto Jr. Argos ran the table in the regular season and they kept their hopes of a perfect season alive, but just barely! The Jr. Argos narrowly escaped defeat, scoring the winning TD with only 42 seconds left on the clock to prevail 23-22. Over in the OVFL there were no surprises as Myers in the Wettges and Essex in the Adam, both won in convincing fashion and advance to host Kingston and London respectively. The Grenadiers, somewhat ignored most of the season secured their place in the Wettges Conference final with their 14-3 road win over the Durham West Dolphins. In the Adam, the Jr. Mustangs avenged an earlier loss sending the Niagara Spears packing with a 38-21 win. With the win London sets up a rematch of a week three thriller against Essex, a 45-43 shootout that Essex won.

With only a couple of weeks to go here are the #CFC10 Rankings for week 12 or Round 3.
