#CFCOFC GAME PREVIEW: Stampeders squad set the tone early

VARSITY:

Last week, the Burlington Stampeders’ win against Chatam 39-0 demonstrated a disciplined coaching strategy which sets the stage for the 2015 season.

“We wanted to continue to be as equally effective as they were at a junior varsity level,” commented Stampeders Head Coach Anthony Mandalfino of the new coaching staff.

The strategy of increasing numbers, changing the player mindset, and the commitment to building upon high school relationships proved to be a winning combination.

Moreover, the coaching staff has been together for 10 years.  Therefore, the message is clear each and every practice.

Player commitment to building skills, strength, and endurance during practice is required for the Stampeders to enjoy success.

With 101 yards receiving, 242 yards rushing and a good rotation of a large roster, the team is ready to compete and contend each week.

Dominic Mandalfino looks to build on an impressive Week 1 as he had 15 carries and 162 rushing yards.
