CJFL SEASON PREVIEW: Kamloops Broncos (VIDEO)

A new Broncos team relying on defence

The Kamloops Broncos will rely on their defence in 2016 rather than their high octane offence.  Following last season their three major weapons all graduated leaving running back Jacob Palmarin to defend his CJFL rushing title with a new quarterback and crop of teammates.

The Broncos should have a solid defence, who are now a veteran group.  They will have to be sharp as the offence goes through a transition.   Linebacker Mike Ochoa will be a major piece and will have to have a big year to give his teammates confidence.

They open the season in the first CJFL game on Saturday afternoon when they travel to Nanaimo to face the Vancouver Island Raiders.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
