Class 2012: Champlain Lennoxville Receiver/Returner Ali Ndao commits to Carabins

CEGEP division 1 All Star Ali Ndao will pursue football career with the University of Montreal.

Ali began playing football at a young age with ” Les Patriotes de Vimont-Auteuil “, a civil football program located in Laval, QC. He continued playing football in high school with ” Le Curé-Antoine-Labelle”. He also gained experience on the national and International stages as he played with team Quebec in 2008 and suited up for team Canada in 2009. The international experience is one that Ali will never forget as a player.

“My best football experience was with team Canada in 2009, it is something that i will never forget” said Ndao.

The 6’2, 185 pound receiver was a target for many CIS programs because he is also a very strong kick returner. Ali handled the Cougars returning on special teams and was named on the CEGEP divison 1 all star team for both receiver and kick returner. Ali is looking forward to his future with the Carabins.

Ali added that his father has played a big part in his football career only missing one game in the 12 football seasons that he has played.

“My father has been a big inspiration for me, he is always there to help when i have a big decision to make and also always supports me through the various camps i have attended in my career (team canada, etc…) “.

Ali looks to help the Carabins improve from there 6-3 finish last season. He will bring speed and the ability to make big plays to an already very strong Carabins Offense. He also adds his speed to the special teams unit being a very dangerous kick returner.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
