Over the past few seasons, Aaron has displayed flashes of offensive greatness on the field. He’s had a successful career with the Markham Raiders of the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL) and his high school team, the Brother Andre Cardinals of the York Region Athletic Association (YRAA).

With both the Raiders and Cardinals, the offensive standout has won numerous awards. They include two defensive MVP awards, Cardinals offensive MVP, Raiders offensive MVP, Cardinals overall MVP, Raiders overall MVP, special teams MVP, and senior/league MVP of the Wettges provincial conference of the OVFL.

“My most memorable football memory is winning the senior MVP of the Wettges provincial conference of the OVFL because I really was not expecting to win, considering I did not even participate in the entire season,” adds Aaron who only played in five of eight games.

Additionally, Aaron has been honoured with several all-star nods. Those include OVFL all-star and YRAA all-star (twice). The offensive standout also received his second straight nod to the GTA team that will play in the all-star game on May 6th at McMaster University.

Speaking of McMaster, Aaron has recently committed to the school for next season.

“I decided to choose McMaster because they have a great coaching staff, the team is tight knit and the facilities are some of the best in the nation,”
comments the future Marauders player of his reasons for choosing the school.

For Aaron to be able to achieve success on and off the field, it wouldn’t be possible without his parents.

“My parents are the most influential people in my life because they set a great example for me to follow and they support me in all my decisions,” explains the offensive phenom.

Playing football for the last few seasons has given Aaron skills which he uses in all aspects of his life.

“I have learned to become more of a leader, to become more outspoken and have confidence in all that I do, knowing that if I thought it through then my decision is never the wrong one,” says the Cardinals graduating offensive star.

McMaster is one more step closer in Aaron’s quest in reaching his future goals. As an accomplished athlete, the offensive standout wants to make it into the professional ranks. However, he is realistic, yet optimistic.

“Unfortunately, no matter how good you are itā€™s never set in stone,” explains Aaron. “With that said, I ‘would’ like to play professionally, but if I can be at the least a great CIS player, I would be perfectly satisfied knowing that I competed at my best.”

“If doesn’t happen for me, I’m a smart kid and I try to do well in school so I’ll have something else lined up for me where in which I can be the MVP.”
