Vancouver offensive lineman joins CWUAA team’s 2016 class

Clifford Crews will be making his CIS entrance in the Prairies.

Recently, the 6ā€™3, 290 pound offensive lineman from Vancouver, British Columbia signed with the University of Calgary Dinos.Ā  Crews will join the team for the 2016 CWUAA season.

ā€œI chose Calgary because of the family and winning atmosphere and because I believe University of Calgary is the top program for offensive linemen to develop,ā€ expressed Crews of his commitment.

The lineman completed a stint with Okanagan Sun of the British Columbia Football Conference (BCFC) in the Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL).Ā  During his time there, Crews was selected as an All-Canadian (2014, 2015) and named BCFC Top Offensive Lineman (2015).

Previous to the Sun, Crews played for California team, ReedleyĀ  College Tigers where he was named All-California honours during the 2013 season.

While he is a native of Vancouver, Crews attended high school in Blaine, Washington.
