Braydon has been playing football since 2009 when he started with community team Chilliwack Giants.  Currently he plays for the W.G. Graham Grizzlies of the British Columbia High School Football Association (BCHSFA).

During his time with the Grizzlies, Braydon was named Most Inspirational Player.

Last year, Braydon experienced a season highlight when the Grizzlies won the Provincial ‘AA’ Championship. He was very proud to be a part of such an amazing achievement with the team.

The Grizzlies’ lineman’s greatest influence has been his mother.

“My mom has been here for me all fove years I have been playing and she is also my support and my motivator,” says Braydon.

Throughout his career, Braydon has learned that helping those around him keeps him motivated as a player.

“I like to push others to help them reach their full potential,” adds Braydon.

The recruitment process has been quite interesting for the Chilliwack native thus far.

“It’s all a new concept to me and it gives me a chance to see all the opportunities that schools can offer,” he comments.

Braydon plans to visit the local universities in order to find the best fit to continue career and being able to achieve his goal of becoming a sports doctor.

Over the summer, the defensive end will be keeping up with his usual training routine which involves team camps and focusing on his cardio.

“I go out for runs and then to the gym for training,” Braydon states. “As for football, we have one or two camps to keep the rust off during the regular season.”

Braydon’s goal for the upcoming season is simple: he wants to help his team achieve greatness.

“I am trying to improve my cardio and hand speed so we can make it to the provincials again,” adds Braydon.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
