CEGEP defensive back joins RSEQ team’s 2016 class.

Despite being flattered by the attention several universities were giving him, Paolo Sargeni said there was one school that stood out in the recruitment process.

Consequently, the 5’11, 182 pound defensive back from Paris, France committed to the McGill Redmen. Sargeni will join the team for the 2016 RSEQ season.

Firstly, academics played a significant role in his decision to opt for the Redmen.

“McGill University is the best universities in Canada,” commented Sargeni.  “That’s why I applied in a Bachelor of Management because in France I wanted to study in international business degree and McGill can offer me the best degree that I could have.”

Additionally, the reputation and strength of the football program tipped the scale towards the RSEQ school.

“I choose the Redmen too because the coaches were the more interested than the others,” elaborated the defensive back.  “Some of my friends are playing with the Redmen and they told me to come because the organisation, the coaching staff and many others things are great here.”
