London fullback joins OUA team’s 2016 class.
Ben Hamber is Waterloo bound.
Recently, the 6’2, 230 pound fullback from London, Ontario signed with the Wilfird Laurier Golden Hawks. Ā Hamber will join the team for the 2016 OUA season.
“I committed to Laurier because it has an outstanding reputation for its business program, a great student experience and an up and coming football team,” explained the fullback of his decision.
Hamber comes to the Golden Hawks after completing stints with both the London South Lions of the Thames Valley Regional Athletic Association (TVRAA) and the Forest City Thunderbirds of the Ontario Football Conference (OFC).
During his career, Hamber has received multiple honours including two TVRAA All-Star selections as well as a nomination for the SPECTRA Award this year.
