Kaedann has been lucky to have played with many facets of various teams in the Red Deer, and Alberta football programs, with the Prairie Fire and his current high school team of the Lindsay Thurber Raiders. These both have provided him opportunities such as Team Alberta Summer Games.
Graduating in 2017, he hasn’t had much as for visits and offers but however, has had junior teams contact him including the Calgary Colts and the Kamloops Broncos. The experience and process would be something that Kaedann welcomes for this upcoming year.
As for highlights for this past season, Kaedann only graciously mentions the one moment that truly stands out.
“My highlight of last season was getting to be a starter for the Prairie Fire, because I am so lucky to play at such a high level like that,” says Kaedann. “It helped improve my skills and to be coached and play with some amazing men.”
All of these awards and monumental moments would not have happened if it weren’t for the most influential people in his life. The first ones he is quick to point out are his parents, followed by his teammates and all of the coaching staff.
“They teach me so much on and off the field,” says Kaedann.
As for training and working out in the offseason, Kaedann applies himself to weight training at least four to five times a week. Also the one thing he wants to work on is his footwork and the level of intensity that he can bring to the game. All of this will help in his future with football and possibly a future career as a firefighter.
Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
