Meadowvale loses to St. Marcellinus in tier 1 first round of playoffs (VIDEO)

Meadowvale played hard until the final whistle but it was not enough to keep their season alive as the Spirit beat the Falcons to move on in the ROPSSAA Tier 1 playoffs.

The offense moved the ball against a tough Marcellinus defense but had trouble scoring. Andrew Rose led the way with 65 yds rushing and Rion Rodie scored the first touchdown of his career. Marlon Ordog played a good all-around game, with a couple big runs on offense, while he had a 60 yard kick return and scored the rouge on special teams. The defense had difficulty shutting down #80 on the Spirit as he scored 4 touchdowns. One thing they were successful at was forcing turnovers, as Jeremy Miller recovered 2 fumbles and Nick Corbett and Mark Lenz added one apiece.
