While McMaster’s 2011 Vanier Cup victory remains fresh in the minds of the Maroon faithful, the focus has shifted to 2012 and moving forward toward new challenges. A big event on the Marauder Football calendar is the team’s annual Gala Dinner and Reception presented by RBC, which will be held on Thursday, April 26th, 2012 at the David Braley Athletic Centre.
Along with an outstanding silent auction for friends and fans, the Gala Dinner and Reception will include two significant presentations; Marauder Football will honour the local high school football community with the annual T. Litzen Sports High school Coach of the Year Award and the 2011 McMaster football team will be presented with its 2011 National Championship rings.
This marks the 15th year for this event which includes Marauders past, present, and future as well as staff, special guests, and a wide array of McMaster supporters. Among guests confirmed to be in attendance is TSN football analyst Chris Schultz, who provided an inspiring pre-game talk prior to the Marauders taking the field at the Vanier Cup.
Tickets for the McMaster Football Gala Dinner and Reception presented by RBC are now on sale. Individual Gala tickets are $150, while corporate tables with seating for 10 are available for $2200, with additional benefits included for our corporate supporters.
