Twelve Canadians signed FBS (Division 1A) letters of intent and 3 more signed with FCS (Division 1-AA) teams on Wednesday. Seven Ontario players, 3 from British Columbia, and one each from the provinces of Alberta & Quebec inked FBS contracts. The 3 FCS signings were all from Ontario.

It was indicated that Justin Senior had signed as well but official word has not come across our desk. A complete listing of these players is found below:

MOBILE, Ala. – A trio of student-athletes from Baylor’s most successful football team in 31 years will represent the Bears in the 63rd annual Senior Bowl on Jan. 28 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala. Philip Blake, Terrance Ganaway and Kendall Wright will play in the nation’s top collegiate all-star game.

2011 Don Hansen All-Super Region Four Team Announced

Brookfield, Ill. — Justin Capicciotti (Toronto, ON) has been named to the 2011 Don Hansen NCAA Division II All-Super Region Four squad as voted on by The Don Hansen Football Committee.

Burnaby, BC – The Simon Fraser University football team presented 19 year-end awards last Thursday night at the SFU football alumni Legacy Dinner. Winners were voted on by the players.

Burnaby, BC – Runningback Bo Palmer (North Vancouver, BC) along with four of his SFU teammates have been named to the Great Northwest Athletic Conference All-Conference team while Justin Capicciotti (Toronto, ON) has been named Co-Defensive Player of the Year.
