The Gatineau Vikings are pleased to announce that four of its former players have made it to the final cut of the Quebec U-18 provincial Football program. The process started in March with 450 players across Quebec trying out for the Provincial team. There are currently 100 players left for the last camp in June. At that time, 50 players will be selected to represent Quebec at the National Championship to be held in London Ontario in July.
Moe Petrus attended Tampa Bay Buccaneers mini-camp last weekend . Petrus, who was selected 10th overall by Hamilton in 2011, was signed to a contract by the Buccaneers on Monday and is now expected to attend the team’s training camp in July.
Kyle Quinlan reportedly has agreed to terms with the Montreal Alouettes. He is expected to compete for the #3 quarterback position behind Anthony Calvillo and Adrian McPherson. The 6'3", 215 lbs. native of South Woodslee, Ontario was bypassed in the recent CFL Canadian draft. He was signed as a free agent.

Rouge et Or linebacker Frederick Plesius was smiling Monday, when he was invited a mini-camp evaluation for the Philadelphia Eagles of National Football League (NFL). The camp will take place the next weekend.
