Samuel Giguère spent the last 2 seasons with the Indianapolis Colts before being released on the weekend. Giguere, a University of Sherbrooke grad, had a productive pre-season, but not enough to keep him on the Indy roster.

Former York Lion and BC Lion Rickey Foley has signed with the New York Jets practice roster. Foley was signed last wednesday before the jets last preseason game.

The NFL deadline to trim rosters down to 53 players was Saturday, and Cory Greenwood, who played four years at middle linebacker for the Concordia Stingers, made the Kansas City Chiefs’ 2010 lineup.
