Christian Covington has been playing football for Vancouver College since grade 8. At the time of publish he had recorded 14 sacks and 2 TDs this season. He was named conference all star and conference defensive MVP (Provincial all stars are named later).

Christian has also played basketball and threw the hammer in track and field. He is an honour roll student and a baptist.

    Eddie Meredith

    6'6" 300 lbs.

    January 2, 1993

    Commitment: None
    Consideration:
    NCAA: Boston College, Princeton, Yale
    CIS: Queens, Toronto, Western, McGill

Eddie Meredith has been working hard on the field, in the gym, and in the classroom. Throwing around numbers like 90% GPA, 16 reps at 225 on the bench and 275 lb hang clean will open doors and get you noticed.

Eddie credits his coaches (at both St. Andrew's and Metro Wildcats) and his personal trainer to helping him get to where he is today. And also parents that have allowed him to live his dream and have fostered that dream every step of the way.

Eddie says "overall i am incredibly blessed, a die-hard football lover and most importantly... an offensive lineman." Right on Eddie.

"Eddie is by far the most dominant offensive lineman in our league. He shows exceptional hands and feet in pass protection, and routinely manhandles the opposition in the run game. He has not come close to surrendering a sack all season, and rest assured when we need the tough yards, we are running behind big # 65."
    Len Gurr, Head Coach, SAC

    Ryan Doull

    Attachment 2905

Ottawa Sooners / Team Ontario East 2009

    6'6" 290

    January 10, 1993

    Commitment: None
    Consideration:
Fork Union Military Academy (Virginia) or Valley Forge Military Academy (Pennsylvania)

Ryan Doull is maybe the most athletic linemen of the bunch. He has played for the Ottawa Sooners (CJFL) the last 2 seasons, this season starting at left offensive tackle. Ryan goes to the same high school as Dallon Kuprowski (CFC 'top QB'), All Saints, which does have a football team.

Before that he played 3 years with the Kanata Knights (NCAFA) and played double AA hockey for the Kanata Blazers (2008) and played lacrosse for Team Ontario (bantam and peewee) in 2008 and 2006.

In 2009 Ryan helped Team Ontario East to a gold medal performance in Saskatoon playing defensive line. Defensive Coordinator of the winning team (and current McGill Redmen defensive coordinator) Clint Uttley had the following to say about Ryan.

"We had some tremendous athletes on that team, and Ryan stood out as one of those superior athletic players. His versatility allowed us to use him as an interior defensive linemen and when we went to a 3 man line Ryan played the edge. In the gold medal game his pass rush ability from the inside and outside could not be handled by our opponents."

Ryan is unable to attend university next year because a sickness in 2010 that put Ryan behind in his academics.

Isn't Romanchuk a victory lap kid? Think they are looking for first time grade 12s for this selection.
