Additionally, Anthony was named the most valuable defensive back at the Steel City Bowl as a member of the Ontario Varsity Football League's (OVFL) Steel City Ironmen in 2011.
During his very prolific football career, Anthony has experienced significant milestones. One of those was when he scored his first touchdown.
"It was an 80 yard kick return for a touchdown right up the middle," explains the Celtics defensive back. "This is just one of many memorable moments I've shared with my teammates throughout my years of football."
Achieving football greatness at such a young age is not easy; however, Anthony has been fortunate to have great coaches over the years that’ve shaped him into the football player he is today.
"My coaches have been a great help and they have taught me everything that has helped me to get where I am at today," says the Celtics graduating star. "Not only have my coaches taught me a lot but also my fellow teammates have as they have taught me what they know and have helped me become a good football player."
Having his parents and sister in the stands cheering him on has been a source of motivation and encouragement in helping him achieve his football and life goals.
"They have supported me through all my sports and still continue to do so as I try and work hard to make it to the next level," adds Anthony.
While the graduating player may have one season left with the Ironmen, he hopes it will be the best one yet. In the long term, the defensive back is keeping all football and school options open.
"I do not have any preferences on what school I want to attend next year for university," comments Anthony. "I am working hard to play at the next level and hope to be playing CIS football at the start of next school year."
