Antonio Corsi first hit the gridiron at the age of seven.

He played two years with the tyke Myers Riders in the National Capital Amateur Football Association (NCAFA).

He then spent one year with the NCAFA tyke Gloucester South Raiders, where they won the A-Cup Championship in 2013 and he received MVP. He also played a year of mosquito with the Raiders.

This year the running back/fullback returned to the Myers Riders and loved it.

He’s played for the Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC) for two years now, 2014 in Toronto and 2015 in Ottawa.

“I’m hoping to make OPC again this year and help my team win,” said Antonio. “[It’s a] great experience.”

This upcoming year he will be playing with the Ontario Varsity League’s (OVFL) Myers Riders.

In the offseason, he does the Carleton University Jr. Ravens camp and has a personal trainer to keep him stretched and strong.

The 12-year-old Rider graduates in 2021, but he already knows that he wants to play in the NCAA. In terms of university, he likes the University of Oregon.

“My inspiration is Dez Brian from [the] Dallas Cowboys, because he’s a great player and a team player,” commented the Rider.

Antonio loves to play the sport because it’s fun, and keeps him focused. He watches everything about football and wants to learn as much as he can.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
