Ontario University Athletics (OUA) partners with the Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC)

BURLINGTON, Ont. – Ontario University Athletics (OUA) and Canadafootballchat.com’s (CFC) Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC) announced today they have agreed on a partnership.

The partnership will see the OUA Top Recruit Football Combine Series integrated with the OPC’s TOP 100 tryouts during the 2016 Family day weekend.

In total nine OUA combines (Ottawa, Toronto, Stoney Creek) will precede the OPC Top 100 tryouts that weekend.  The combines will include all high school age OPC teams (Freshmen, Sophomore, Varsity).

“The OUA Top Recruit Football Combine Series is the perfect proving ground for prospective student-athletes looking to take the next step” said Gord Grace, OUA CEO.

“As witnessed during last year’s OUA Top Recruit Combine Series and Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC), our province has an abundance of talented football players who will undoubtedly make a significant impact within our league in the years to come,” Grace said.

“Never more has our sport needed organizations to work together and I commend the vision of Gord Grace and the OUA football coaches” said Lee Barette, OPC Director of Operations.  “The Top Recruit Combines, Growing the Gridiron program and Drill of the Week initiative prove the OUA is moving the sport forward and is why we are excited to start and grow this partnership.”
