Eric began his gridiron career at the age of nine with the atom Regina Eskimos.Ā He would move on to suit up for the Regina Thunder and Renegades minor teams.
Recently, the receiver has played for his high school team, Balfour Redmen of the Regina Intercollegiate Football League (RIFL).
During the summer, Eric is doing whatever he can to maintain conditioning.
āIām trying to keep a workout schedule and keep fit in the offseason,ā describes the Redmen receiver of his training regimen.
For main sources of encouragement and inspiration, Eric does not have to go far.
āMy father and my brother are my main influences because I strive to be as good as them,ā expresses Eric.
Being less than two years away from graduation, the Regina offensive standout has not given much thought about his future plans.Ā As of yet, he has not committed to a school or had any official visits.
āI haven’t talked with any scouts so far,ā says Eric of the recruitment process.Ā āI am just working hard to be noticed.ā
Overall, the game has taught Eric one thing.
