Zack began his gridiron journey with the Amabaie at the peewee level.  Among the other teams he has suited up for include the North Shore Lions and his high school team, Dorval Jean XXIII Faucons.

During his career, he has received several honours including Provincial Championship MVP.

This month, the Quebec defensive back began a new gridiron chapter with CEGEP Division 1 team, Vanier Cheetahs.

For continued success on the field, the Cheetahs rookie undergoes a rigorous training regimen.

“I train every single day, minimum once a day,” describes Zack.  “I have understood that if I want to make it in football, I have to out work everyone because I am not the only one trying to make it to the big league.”

Moreover, his parents and his community have been key sources of support and motivation in Zack’s quest to achieve all his gridiron goals.

“My parents and where I grew up are my main influences,” expressed the Cheetahs defensive back.  “I always told myself that I wanted to bring my parents money and happiness one way or another and I think football is the best way for me.”

While he aspires to have a long and prosperous gridiron career, Zack would like to complete university and become a firefighter.

As for where he will attend university, he has not committed anywhere at the moment.  However, Zack is satisfied with how the recruitment process is coming along.

“My recruitment process has been good to me so far,” recalls the Cheetahs defensive back.  “I am starting to be known around the CIS.”

“It is now time to get known with NCAA teams. This allows me to always work hard.”

Overall, the game has given Zack the recipe for success in all his gridiron and life endeavours.

“The things in football that I have applied in life is being serious and competing in everything I do,” says Zack.   “That will allow me to always be at my best because I always challenge myself.”
