The Cayuga, Hagersville Secondary School Warriorcanes who are prohibited from participating in Grand Erie District School Board competition got their first victory of their makeshift, exhibition laden schedule when they defeated the Waterford Wolves in Hagersville last week. Neither the Hurricanes or the Warriors had defeated Waterford in gridiron competition for years and when the Wolves arrived at the Haldimand school to take on the Warriorcanes, the Wolves anticipated a similar result but the Canes had different intentions.
