Yamaoka named Broncos Head Coach

Kamloops, BC. – The Kamloops Broncos Football Club is excited to announce the signing of Brad Yamaoka as Head Coach. Brad will start in his new capacity effective immediately.

Brad has been with the team for many years and has played a big role in last year’s record breaking season.

“Brad brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our organization, and will continue to move the team into the direction we have created last year,” said Broncos General Manager Jan Antons.

“I am excited to have brad move up to the head coach position!  It is important to us as organization to promote from within our own coaches.  Brad brings a wealth of knowledge and is not just going to be our head coach, but is looking to expand our role and assist minor football and high-school football in Kamloops.  Brad has been a part of the Kamloops Broncos since day one in one role or another, and was instrumental in the growth we experienced last year”, stated Dino Bernardo, President of the Kamloops Broncos.

Brad Yamaoka is a former CFL running back with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (2000-03) and BC Lions (1997-99)

Brad will start recruiting players for the upcoming season immediately.
