The Sault Ste. Marie, ON native is the top ranked prospect on the CFC100 Class of 2023, and spent his entire high school football career down south playing at Walled Lake Western in Michigan.

The 6’4″, 220lbs quarterback was in high demand with nine offers on the board including Syracuse, Maryland and Marshall, but originally announced his commitment to Eastern Michigan. It looked like he was destined to stay in-state, but then decided to make a change of plans and committed to Minnesota instead.

Viotto will be looking to follow in the footsteps of CFC100 DB Benjamin St-Juste, who transferred to Minnesota to finish his collegiate career before getting selected 74th overall by the Washington Commanders in the 2021 NFL Draft.
