CFC100 Class 2023 LB Gideon Bedada made it official with Old Dominion on NCAA National Signing Day.

The Calgary, AB native is ranked 5th on the CFC100 Class of 2023 Rankings, and began his career playing community football for the Calgary Wildcats and attended Henry Wise Wood High School before heading south to complete his eligibility at Clearwater Academy in Florida.
The 6’3″, 225lbs edge rusher earned plenty of interest with 15 offers on the board including Kansas, Memphis and Akron, but in the end he decided Old Dominion would be the best path at the next level after they appeared on the scene in late October with an offer. Bedada will be joining fellow CFC100 LB Jude Buchanan on campus, who signed with the Monarchs last cycle.
