University of Manitoba
The University of Manitoba have signed a new twin lineman from their local talent pool. Offensive lineman Drew Boucher and defensive tackle Jordin Boucher will join the Herd for the upcoming season.
“I joined the Bisons because I really like the recruiting class they’ve brought in the past few years, and there’s no place like home,” Drew states.
At 6’4, 245lbs, Drew has been a rock at offensive line and long snapper. He began playing football with the Transcona Nationals (MMFA), and has just finished his high school ball with the Murdoch Mackay Clansmen (WHSFL).
Drew’s goals while he’s with the Bisons are to get better everyday and to push himself as hard as he can.
Another addition to the Huskie Defensive Line makes us that much stronger going into the new year. Weyburn's own Evan Barsness will be donning the Huskie green in 2022. Welcome to the Huskies, Evan! #HuskiePride pic.twitter.com/Y7qzwKqPcX

University of Saskatchewan
The Saskatchewan Huskies are excited to welcome a new lineman to their defense. Defensive tackle Evan Barsness is the latest recruit for the green and white.
“I picked Saskatchewan because of its agriculture program, as I grew up on a farm and I want to take over it when I get older,” he replies.
Barsness stands at 6’3″, 275lbs and played for the Weyburn Comprehensive Eagles (SHSAA).
“My goals are to put in 110% and do my best and help the team in any way I can,” he states.
