The 6’2, 270 pound offensive lineman from Saint Laurent, Quebec signed with the Ottawa Gee-Gees.  Sinnathurai will join the team for the 2016 OUA season.

“The reason I chose Ottawa is because I felt it was the best fit for me regarding football and academics,” elaborated Sinnathurai.”Coach [Jamie] Barresi and Coach [Carl] Tolmie were very persistant and showed a lot of belief in my abilities.”

“As for the program, they have a really competive group of guys and I believe that I could bring my competive spirit and help make the team better any way I could. I am also excited in joining one of the top offences in the OUA last year, which seems to still be on the rise.”

Sinnathurai comes to the Gee-Gees after playing for CEGEP Division 2 team, John Abbott College Islanders.  He was named CEGEP Division 2 All-Star in 2015.

Previous to the Islanders, the offensive lineman suited up for Saint Laurent Spartans.
