The 6’2”, 195lbs prospect recently participated at the CFC Prospect Game where he was identified by CFC partner Tracking Football as one of the top athletes in Ottawa, and stole the show at the Fox 40 Prospect Game in 2019 where he won MVP honours. He also earned his way onto the CFC All-Canadian Team last season after an outstanding year with the Owls, which led to interest far and wide from the likes of Stanford, North Dakota, Montana, Columbia, Simon Fraser, Alberta, Carleton, Guelph, Western, Queen’s, York and McGill.

Ulm received his first U Sports offer from Ottawa, and first NCAA offer from Toledo shortly after participating at the CFC Prospect Game, but it was Eastern Washington who stole his heart with an offer in early September.

“I chose Eastern Washington for many reasons. One being the strength of their coaching staff and the relationship I built with all of them.

After the first meeting I had with Coach Best, it became clear he had the exact mentality and attitude I was looking for. Also with the fact that three receivers have gone to the NFL from EWU over the past three years, I knew it was somewhere I could accomplish my goals. After many prayers and talks with people I trusted it seemed like the perfect move. I’m looking forward to continuing to do things that haven’t been done and show everyone that anything is possible if you work hard enough.”

Ulm will be joining fellow B.C native CFC100 Matthew Hewa Baddege on campus, who also spent his entire high school career playing north of the border at Terry Fox.
