WHSFL star has incredible vision, speed, and drive

Shakur Harris finished his senior year with the Oak Park Raiders second in the WHSFL in scoring with 12 touchdowns. Shakur also finished 4th in the league in rushing with 848 rushing yards on 88 carries and he registered 125 yards receiving hauling in 8 passes in 2016.

Even though Shak may play many positions on the field, his favorite is running back. “The running back is one of those positions everybody’s just not made for,” said Harris. “You take a ton of hits, you rarely get the love a QB does, and you’re asked to be arguably be the most versatile man on the field without most fans noticing it.”

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
