Nova Scotia is making up for the postponed week 1 schedule this week.Ā  Here are two intriguing match ups.

Both squads are coming off hard fought quarter final wins.Ā  MacNaughton eliminated last years New Brunswick champs while Oromocto knocked off Saint John in a CFC game of the week.Ā  This will be the first time these two teams face off this year.Ā  Can Oromocto limit the high flying Highlanders offense?Ā  Be there to find out.

Juvenile AAA Division 1 Semi Finals
Saturday 1:30pm @ Parc Roi-du-Nord

These two teams finished 2nd and 3rd in Juvenile AAA division 1 actionĀ  this year.Ā  They played on October 1st with Les Loups coming out on top 27 to 18.Ā  Receiver Tony Desmond had a big game for the wolves (les loups), catching 2 early TD passes.Ā  Expect another great contest.

ONTARIO

Holy Trinity – Courtice (7-0) CFC #21 vs. Donald A. Wilson Gators –Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā  Whitby, ON CFC #25Ā Ā Ā  (5-0, 6-1)
CFC BONUS:Ā  Played tuesday at Wilson

Game was played tuesday.Ā  It was the final regular season game in Durham Tier 1 action.Ā  Wilson came out on top 25 to 21 paced by a 2 touchdown performance by Greg Morris and one by George Papadakos.Ā  Trinity countered with touchdown scores by Svend Tamburro, Earl Anderson, and Tyler Ganhao.Ā  Cannot wait for the playoff rematch.

Villanova CFC ‘HM’ (6-1) vs. Herman CFC #3 (7-0)

Rematch of regular season match up that saw Herman win 29 to 13.Ā  In that game Arjen Colquhoun scored 3 TDs (Michigan State verbal commit).Ā  The Lumleys, Beau (RB) and Austin (QB) will be looked upon for another big performance for Herman.Ā  At least uncle (and coach) Harry will be hoping for that.Ā  Watch out for Villanova RB Austin Crumb.

A rematch of an October 7th regular season match up that saw the chargers come out on top 25 to 14.Ā  In that match up Crusaders Stephan Baumann rushed for 81 yards and Chargers Kent Rempel had 65 yards rushing.Ā  Both teams want another shot at Aden Bowman and a victory in this match up will probably afford them that chance.

Riffel Royals – CFCĀ  ‘HM’ (5-1-1) vs. Sheldon Spartans – CFCĀ  ‘HM’ (5-2-1)

CFC BONUS: Played Tuesday

A rematch of an October 8th regular season game that saw Sheldon come out on top 14 to 13.Ā  This game was played last night with Sheldon coming out on top again.Ā  Spartan QB Nathan Schulte (Team Saskatchewan) completed a touchdown pass to Cy Bray (normally an olineman) and Royals Brad Grwul (Team Saskatchewan) rushed for 160 yards and both Royal TDs.Ā  The royals now face Campbell in the RIFL 4A final.
