CFCs “Top 25” High School poll – week 2: “Play football Ontario”

Cross our fingers, but appears that Bill 115 has had little effect on the Ontario high school football season.  The fear of losing a season is not over, but the effect has seen only some regions cancelling or postponed one game.  That being said, Ontario should be in full swing this week, causing more movement within the top 25.  Some great games have already been played this year from coast to coast; in Vancouver, Vancouver College and St. Thomas More (17-7) had an epic battle as did Citadel and Sir John A MacDonald (6-0) in Halifax yesterday.

Week 2

1 (1) W.J. Mouat Hawks – Abbotsford, B.C. (0-0, 3-0)
Maleek Irons had another huge game with 300 yards and 5 touchdowns against the Mission Roadrunners.  Irons has 13 TDs in 3 games.  The offensive line continues to dominate opponents.

2 (2) Séminaire Saint-François Blizzard – Saint-Augustin, QC (3-0)
Defense led by  LB Jean-Philippe Hudon (Team Quebec) continues to lead the team, this time with a 18 to 3 victory over Collège Jean-Eudes (previously ranked #17).

NOTES:
1) Teams eligible are in the below listing.
2) At least one team per province will be represented always.
3) We encourage your participation, feedback, and criticism.
4) All leagues go to grade 12 except for Quebec which are grade 10’s and 11’s. Ontario allows grade 13 players to play.
