Offensive:Ā Ā #8 Ryan Kotar ā€“ RB ā€“ Hamilton Hurricanes

19 rushes for 159 yards and 2 TD
Ryan Kotar, 3rd Year RB led the Hurricanes to another big road win over the Burlington Braves in a rematch from Week 1 in the OFC. The Mohawk College student had another huge day rushing the football with 159 yards on 19 carries and 2 TD’s. The back-to-back Offensive POW now leads the OFC in rushing with 963 yards and 9 TD’s. Ryan will try to lead the Hurricanes to their seventh consecutive victory and the Regular Season Title when they travel to play the London Beefeaters on Friday evening at 8:00pm at TD Waterhouse Stadium.

Defensive:Ā Ā #54 Devin Mcmullin ā€“ LB ā€“ Twin Cities Predators

7 Solo Tackles, 3 Assisted Tackles, 1 QB Sack, 20 Def. Points
Devin Mcmullin, 2nd Year LB from Galt Collegiate Institute (GCI) in Cambridge had a great night defensively for the Twin Cities Predators. Derek led the Predators with 7 solo tackles, 3 assisted tackles, and a QB sack for 20 defensive points. The former GCI Ghosts LB and his defensive mates will look to end the season on a high note when they travel to Brampton on Saturday afternoon to play the Bears. Game time is set for 4pm at Chinguacousy Park.

Special Teams:Ā Ā #33 Zach Medeiros ā€“ K ā€“ London Beefeaters

Zach Medeiros, 3rd Year, P/PK from St. Joseph’s SS in St. Thomas had another great all-around kicking performance in the Beefs 20-17 victory. Zach had 11 punts for 430 yards, 2 kick-offs for 135, 2 for 2 on converts and had 2 field goals, including a 49-yard game winner with 2 seconds to play. Zach will try and help the Beefs continue their winning ways when they host the Hamilton Hurricanes in a showdown for first place. Kick-off is set for 8 pm on Friday evening at TD Waterhouse Stadium.
