NCAFA (Ottawa): 2011 Midget All-Stars & MVPs

The NCAFA is pleased to announce their 2011 Midget (U20) All Stars as voted by the coaches.

These are some of the best up and coming football players in our area with the majority of these players previous experience coming from one of the 15 member Clubs that now comprise the NCAFA. The Midget level has been the top age group in NCAFA since 2002, however its roots go back much futher when it was a separate League unto itself.

The growth of football will be enhanced with the Carleton University Ravens joining the uOttawa GG’s for play in 2013. Many NCAFA graduate will be looking to these 2 CIS teams, as well as local Junior teams, for opportunities to play at the next level. In addition, we have had preliminary discussion with 2 new possible entries to NCAFA which could result in an 8 team Midget level in 2012.

NCAFA is excited to be in a position to grow football in Eastern Ontario and West Quebec and the continued interest in our Midget level is a testament to the strength of football in this area.

Congratulations to the 2011 NCAFA Midget (U20) All Stars!
