Nepean Redskins 35 – 3 Bel-Air Norsemen

Redskins: Costa Jones easily had his best game of his midget career posting 4 Passing TDs
Redskins: Hamze Monsour made up for a drop filled week 4 with 2 Receiving TDs
Redskins: Enzo Trunzo was solid with 1 Receiving TD
Redskins: Marc Antoine Lamont scored 1 Receiving TD
Redskins: Jason Beauchamps was a monster accumulating 12 tackles

Norsemen: Jonathan Cimankinda had a decent night with 80 yards Rushing
Norsemen: Stefano Napolitano was solid on the ground as well Rushing for 70 yards
Norsemen: Bobby Davies lead the Norsemens quiets pass attack with 65 yards Receiving
Norsemen: Brodey Marshall returned to put in a solid game with 4 Tackles and 2 Assists and 1 Blocked point after
Norsemen: Ben Bonhomme was stout on defense racking up 4 Tackles and 2 Assits
Norsemen: Jesse Surchorab was solid on the line with 1 Tackle and 3 Assists and 1 Sack
Norsemen: Alex Fillipoff had a nice night kicking with 1 Field Goals and a Punt avg of 40.5 yards

Kanata Knights 34 – 0 Nouvelles Frontieres Arsenal

Knights: Cassy Aite was sensational with 2 Rushing TDs and 2 Field Goals
Knights: Jaegar Prot was solid scoring 1 Rushing TD and picking up 6 Receptions for 70 yards along with 1 INT
Knights: Josh Bourbonniere had a nice game scoring a 15 yard Receiving TD
Knights: Jordon Gorgichuk was solid as usual in the secondary and in the return game
Knights: Jasko Dervy and Brad Herbst were consistently making huge plays in the back field
Knights: Taylor Jackson and Lukas Sauve played well on defense containing the Arsenal run game

Arsenal: The Arsenal came out hard playing very aggressive and determined however in the end couldnt match the Knights firepower
Arsenal: The Arsenal played a fine first half, if not for an interception on the 1 yard line on the last play of the half, a TD would have put the Arsenal in the lead going into the dressing room
Arsenal: Things were ugly though by the middle of the 3rd quarter where the Arsenal gave up a blocked punt, fumbled, the O-Line broke down and too many costly turnovers.
Arsenal: Coach Benoit stated that his team needs to work on offensive execution. Benoits feels that the presence of a second QB (Alex Sargeant) helps starter JP Gagnon in the sense that it changes the tempo of the game and allows JP Gagnon to regroup.
Arsenal: Coach Benoit further states that the Arsenal still need to establish a sound running game, thinking that good things will come due to the quality of the 2 QB’s.
Arsenal: The Arsenal still need to be capable of physically and mentally playing for 4 quarters. They need to follow the lead of Mathieu and Sébastien Chagnon, and need to follow the resiliancy of players like Phil Breton, Nic Cadieux

Orleans Bengals 29 – 0 North Gloucester Giants

Dukes: The defense looked well prepared and motivated.
Dukes: Chris McDonald was a monster scoring 3 Receiving TDs and 1 Punt Return TD
Dukes: Darcy Lavoie had a solid game throwing connecting with 6 different receivers and tossing 3 Passing TDs
Dukes: Jim Sandaire and Darwin Campbell did work on the ground, keeping the chains moving
Dukes: Ausin Lair had a fantastic game in the secondary
Dukes: The entire front 7, both starters and subs, played a tremendous game and executed wonderfully limiting the Giants all game

Giants: Dan Omara was a monster racking up multiple solo tackles and Sacks
Giants: Sebastien Lacelle was also a standout playing hard and being around the ball all game long
Giants: The defense put in a great effort in spite of being on the field for most of the game
Giants: Max Boucher and Devin Brazeau lead the offensive attack breaking loose only a few times
Giants: The offense as a whole were overmatched by the highly motivated Dukes
