NCAFA: Week 2 burns out the score clocks with TDs, TDs, and more TDs (scores)

TYKE (Under 10)

The Bell Warriors won their 2nd strait game beating Brockville 14-7. Derrick Boudreau and Kahi Padamshi lead the Oo-line, Jake Papalia scored 2 touchdowns, while Kyle Crabtree recorded a safety. First year players Christian McElhinney and Trey O’Brien were also solid.

Darius Stevenson dominated for the Orleans Bengals with 10 tackles, 3 sacks and a forced fumble and recovery in a 16-6 victory.

Precieux King, Kaleb Kelly, Vincent Marcantonio, and Richard Graham all scored for the Mustangs in a 46-37 loss to South Gloucester. The Raiders offence was lead by Kevin Victome, who scored 8 TD’s.

Kanata blanked West Carleton 6-0 with Gerome Choeung-Boateng recording 8 tackles, and a blocked pass for the Knights. Teammate Jared Valentino had 6 tackles and 1 interception while QB Peter Johnson scored the game’s only touchdown. For West Carleton, Josh Parent had 5 solo tackles, Mike Lightbody was in on 8, and Hugh Russell had 4 including a fumble recovery.

Bel Air’s Gaby Castillo and Djosy Mumembi provided strong blocking for William Lemus-Coto and Bryce Russell. Stephane Tshishimbi and Cameron Daros also stood out in the team’s 28-6 loss to The Riders.

MOSQUITO (Under 12)

After The Mustangs took a 14-6 lead in the 4th, The Raiders; Tyler Asteles (6 carries for over 100 yards) scored with less than 1 minute remaining bringing the Raiders within 2. Nick Franchina had the other points for South Gloucester. Ryan Norton-Allen was outstanding for The Mustangs, while Kevin Nsabua had a rushing TD from Jesse Luketa in the 14-12 win.

Bell blanked Brockville 36-0. Sam Roberts lead the defense with an interception return for a touchdown. DE Ryan Pacholik was solid while a game time decision to move Luke Dulmage to centre helped Zack Souliere score a 40 yard TD run.

Lead by Willy Dimbongi who ran for 6 touchdowns, Cumberland got by Cornwall 42-12. Zachary Batal kicked two extra points while rookies Olivier Papillon and A.K. Ismail had solid defensive performances as did Pierre Robert with 3 tackles and a sack.

Nevan Carter had 2 TD’s and 260 yards on the ground in Kanata’s 49-40 Labour Day Monday win over West Carleton. Wolverines RB Owen Clement had 5 TD’s on 18 carries for over 200 yards, while Anesu Latmore (4 carries for 90 yards and 1 TD), QB Patrick Duffy (4/8 and 75 yards passing), and LB Jamie Smith (7 tackles, 1 sack) also had strong performances.

Bel Air’s Eugene Kanku returned a punt 110 yards while Brandon MacLeod and Cameron Goudie provided excellent protection as Scott Galbraith hooked up with Malcom MacDonald on a 70 yard pass and run play in a 36-0 win.

PEE WEE (Under 14)

Myers blanked Bel Air 71-0. Myers defense didn’t allow a single first down. Brian Franklin and Brandon Robertson ran the ball consistently while Malik Sauve-Mohammed and holder Spencer Brunet teamed up for numerous points.

Caelen Lepine and Jake Erskine both ran for over 100 yards and 3 touchdowns each in the Bengals’ 50-12 win over East Ottawa.

Adam Malekos and Tate Cummings teamed up for a touchdown in a 27-14 Mustangs loss to the Raiders. Danil Obiang found the end zone twice for Gloucester South, while LB’s Nicarlo Funai & Mostafa Kari had timely plays to secure the win.

West Carlton Wolverines QB Spencer Dobrik had over 300 yards passing and 4 TDs in a 54-47 win over Kanata. RB Carter Wilson (150 yards and 3 TD’s), and R Willy Ruddy (2 TD’s and over 100 yards) rounded out the scoring.

Several injuries faced Bel Air in their 71-0 loss to Myers. Devin Styles stepped in at running back and had success behind Chris Vena and Ben Spencer for the Lions.

BANTAM (Under 16)

Riders QB Costa Jones threw 5 TD passes in a 41-7 victory over Bel Air. Max Chainey (2), Enzo Trunzo (1), Sean Edgecombe (1), Hunter King (1) and Josh Colley all had touchdowns. Jocelyn Simard led the defense with an interception.

2 touchdowns for each Edouardo Beggs and Justin Ryan as well as 2 field goals from Quinton Soares in Orleans’ 60-0 victory.

Tunde Adeleke had 2 TD’s, one on a pass from Justin Poitras. Mike Bolzanello threw for 2 more (Joey Wrinn Chris MacGillivrary) as South Gloucester blanked the Mustangs 42-0. Hadi Besmar scored on a 75 yard run, while Chez Patricelli, Vinny Le, Terry Lormil, Will Karam, and Didi Vaillancourt (interception return for touchdown) had great games on defense.

Jason Lachance (2), Brad Hills (2), Nick Kzaniak (1) and Keenan Tanti (1) all had touchdowns for Kanata, while Seby Mordak had a 40 yard pick/run in a 38-0 win over West Carleton.

It took overtime for Cumberland to get past the Wildcats 32-31. Panthers QB Jake Molinski scored 3 TD’s including the winning 2 point convert. Matt Renault scored on a 65 yard run while Matt Cook, Jeremy Salgo and Scott Vaughn (blocked punt) were solid on the other side of the ball.

Ian Perry and Elias Castillo each had several catches while QB Andrew Sneddon completed several passes and had a big day running in a 41-7 loss to Myers. Lions teammates Even Smith and Chris Stephens were solid on defense.

Jordan Doucett led the Redskins defense while Matt Melindez had 3 TD’s and Connor Ayre had 2 field goals along with 3 converts in a close 27-20 win over The Giants.

MIDGET (Under 19)

In a 32-10 win, The Bangles Darcy Lavoie went 15 for 25 for 234 yards and had 5 TD’s. Yannick Paquin (3) and Blake Rennick (2) also found the end zone for Orleans.
