Ontario (Ottawa): St. FX Coyotes remain undefeated with a route of the St. Joseph Jaguars

After another impressive win, the Coyotes now have an undefeated 5-0 record after defeating the St. Joseph Jaguars 57-6.
Β

The route started early as CoyotesΒ  quarterback Michael Bolzanello hit Nathaniel Hamlin on a 45 yard post route. However, the conversion attempt was no good.
After the Coyotes defense stopped the Jaguars first drive, Hamlin took over and punched in his second touchdown on a no huddle dive (his third of the game would come on a punt return later). Once again, the conversion attempt was not successful as it banged off the upright.
Stopped again, Jaguars were forced to kick from midfield. Dimitri Vaillancourt returned the ball to score a 60 yard major for the Coyotes. Bolzanello would split the uprights, making the score 19-0 going into the second quarter.
After a competitive set of downs, St. Joe’s quarterback Mark Benoit was picked off by Dimitri Vaillancourt.Β  He would run the ball back for an 84 yard touchdown score; however,Β  it was negated by a questionable pass interference call, followed then by an objectionable conduct penalty on the St. FX bench for their protest.
The outcome would be a first and goal from the 1 yard line for the Jaguars offense. Running back Ryan Duperron took the ball into the end zone on the next play. Once again, the attempt for the extra point was blocked so the score was 19-6 Coyotes.
Before the kickoff, Coyotes head coach Mark Jennings delivered an emotional speech to the team.
Afterwards, Tunde Adeleke would answer as he took a dive and bounced the ball outside, Tunde would hit a second gear and blow by the St. Joseph pursuit on en route to a 65 yard touchdown score. The subsequent conversion attempt was good.
The defensive unit, led by Hamlin, would give next to nothing to the Jaguar offense.Β  Furthermore, special teams would make a huge play and score on another punt return to make the score 33-6.
Running back Ryan Kublek took back to back carries and scored another major for the Coyotes after an interception. After the first half, the Coyotes enjoyed a 40-6 lead.
St. Joseph Jaguars had little success and struggled throughout the game. Special teams gave up the third punt return touchdown of the game, which was followed by an interception by Adeleke. Both St. Joseph’s quarterbacks threw a pair of interceptions. The defense failed to slow down their opponent and Kublek would score his second major of the game with a pass from Bolzanello, who would later kick a 30 yard field goal.
The final play of the game was a Coyote interception. A generous mercy call that ended the game resulting in a 57-6 for the Coyotes.
Losing two consecutive games, St. Joseph’s end their season with a 2-2-1 record.
St. FX will host St. Mark’s next week, hoping for another undefeated season and capping off the year with a championship in tow.
β€œSt. Mark is a very well coached team; Coach Brown (my old coach) always has his players ready to play a very physical game,” sais Jennings after the game.Β  “The first time we played them this year they out hit us in the second half of the game;Β  our goal is to play a complete game and keep them off the scoreboard.”
β€œLast year we ended the season with an undefeated record, yet it did not result in a championship. Our players are well aware that they need to continue to improve and be playing their best football come November.”
