OVFL: New Year, New Team, same expectations for the Essex Ravens

The Ravens will kick off their 2012season this weekend against Brampton. The Varsity Essex Ravens finished off their season last year 8-0 , and after losing in quadruple overtime in the second round of play offs they came up withva new motto for this season “New Year, New Team, Same Expectations.”

The ravens have been at work since December first with Core training, Plyometrics, Agility, and Speed training in order to be ready for their first game. Essex Ravens will have a strong run game with OFVL’s top four rushers returning from last year and top OVFL JV rusher Eli Fera moving up to the varsity team this year.

The Defensive secondary will be one of the best that the ravens have fielded with several returning players as well as players moving up from JV.
