Montreal quarterback/athlete joins OUA team’s 2016 class

Joshua Bailey will be moving to the Nation’s Capital to continue the next stage of his gridiron journey.

The 5’10, 185 pound quarterback/athlete from Montreal, Quebec signed with the Ottawa Gee-Gees. ¬†Bailey will join the team for the 2016 OUA season.

“I¬†decided to go to the University of Ottawa because I believed it was the best option,” explained the standout of his commitment. “Ottawa is also close to my hometown Montreal; that is a bonus.”

“I feel that Ottawa will help me grow as a football player and also help me develop the skills I will need for what I would like to do after University. I am excited to join the boys next fall and also having the opportunity to be coach by Coach [Jamie] Barresi. Go GeeGees!”

Bailey has suited up for the Trinity College Bears of the Conference Independent Schools Athletic Association (CISAA). Previous to the Bears, the standout played for the Sun Youth Hornets organization where he was named both League and Offensive MVP in 2013.
