RICHARDSON: Best shoe choices to maximize your workouts

Part of getting the most out of your workouts are choosing the best shoe for the job. There are a lot of choices for shoes out there, and some are better than others. During this article Iā€™ll highlight what I know to be the better type of shoe options to use while training for football. Iā€™ll talk about how thick or thin a shoe should be, and whether basketball shoes make good training shoes. Iā€™ll talk about why a high cut shoe might not be the best for training Iā€™ll talk about the downside of some shoe choices for sprinting or field work.
