  • The #1 ranked Canadian recruit in the CFC100 Class of 2022 made his decision this week. CFC100 DT Isaiah Hastings committed to the University of Alabama. The 6’4”, 290lbs lineman chose the Crimson Tide over other top schools like Michigan, Oregon, Georgia, and Florida. He joins CFC100 WR John Metchie III as recent top ranked Canadian prospects to join the Tide. 

NCAA COMMITS

  • In week 10 NFL news, kicker Lirim Hajrullahu made his NFL debut for the Dallas Cowboys, going a perfect 5/5 on XP attempts. The 31 year old had been signed and released twice by the Cowboys earlier this season, but was picked up once again on November 10th to play for them against the Falcons. 

U SPORTS/NCAA CONSIDERATIONS

  • Other impact Canadians in a week missing Pittsburgh Steelers CFC100 WR Chase Claypool due to injury were the Los Angeles Chargers trio of CB Tevaughn Campbell with six tackles, CFC100 LB Amen Ogbongbemiga grabbing two tackles and a sack, while CFC100 WR Josh Palmer caught three catches for 22 yards. The Los Angeles Rams S Taylor Rapp also had 10 tackles and a sack.
