BC High School Notable Performances: CFC 100 Seymour, Farinu & McKee unstoppable

BC HIGH SCHOOL NOTABLE PERFORMANCES:

  • New WestminsterΒ REC Matt SeymourΒ recorded an interception and caught a pair of touchdown passes (60 yards & 8 yards) in their 30-14 win over W.J. Mouat.
  • South DeltaΒ QB Lucas KirkΒ went 12-of-21 for 228 yards in the air and threw for three touchdowns in a 37-6 win over Rutland.
  • Mt. DouglasΒ RB Seye FarinuΒ rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns in a 46-26 win over Mt. Tahoma. TeammateΒ REC Gavin CobbΒ had a 72-yard punt return TD and also caught an 85-yard touchdown pass.
  • VernonΒ RB Karson PatommelΒ caught two touchdown passes and rushed for another in a 26-7 win over Pitt Meadows.
  • BelmontΒ QB Brendan HollandΒ went 15-of-19 for 303 yards in the air and threw a 61-yard touchdown pass in a 34-14 win over Ballenas. TeammateΒ REC Hayden Crothershauled in two catches for 77 yards and also returned an interception 21 yards for a score.
  • AbbotsfordΒ REC Chase ClaypoolΒ helped lead the team to a 23-20 win over Kelowna by netting three touchdowns catches, including one from 50-yards, and finishing with five catches for 145 yards overall. He also had a fumble recovery for a touchdown.
  • Vancouver CollegeΒ RB Ovie OdjegbaΒ set a new school record with a 90-yard touchdown run from scrimmage as part of a 50-32 win over St. Thomas More.
  • St. Thomas MoreΒ QB Terrell JanaΒ passed for 181 yards and three touchdown passes andΒ DL Ben SteeleΒ recorded 11 tackles in a 50-32 loss to Vancouver College.
  • Terry FoxΒ QB Conner McKeeΒ rushed for two touchdowns and also threw a touchdown pass in their 55-6 win against Mission.
  • Holy CrossΒ QB Patrick ShoemayΒ threw for three touchdowns in their 30-0 win against Rick Hansen.
  • G.W. GrahamΒ RB Brett WestadΒ had seven carries for 131 yards and recorded three touchdowns in a 49-0 win over Howe Sound.
  • HandsworthΒ QB Mihai LapusteΒ threw for three touchdowns while going 11-of-19 for 188 yards in the air. He also ran for three more scores in the 54-20 win against Sentinel.
