Calgary recruit swayed by Dinos competitive drive

Calgary offensive standout opts to play for local CWUAA team.

After an official visit, Daniel Adesegun knew he wanted to be part of something special, yet have the opportunity to excel as a player.

Recently, the 5ā€™9, 180 pound running back/slotback made the decision to commit to local CIS team, Calgary Dinos.Ā  Adesegun will join the team for the 2015 CWUAA season.

ā€œI committed to Calgary because it has a great football team,ā€ commented Adesegun of his commitment.Ā  ā€œWhen I went to visit, I noticed the level of competitiveness on the team and the drive to be the best.ā€

ā€œI felt like it was the best place for me to grow as an athlete.ā€

Adesegun comes to the Dinos after playing with McNally-Lacombe Laserwolves of the Calgary Senior High School Athletic Association (CSHSAA).Ā  This past season, he rushed for 1,300 yards and scored 23 touchdowns with the Laserwolves.
